Comair Admits its Pilots Were Partially to Blame

Comair is taking partial blame for a plane crash that killed 49 people in August 2006.

The airline admits to federal investigators its pilots were partly responsible for the deadly crash. Still, the airline argues that better systems for monitoring runways and alerting flight crews of taxiway changes might have prevented the accident.

Bluegrass Airport and the air traffic controllers' union pin most of the blame for the Aug. 27 crash on the pilots.

The statements released by the National Transportation Safety Board are said to be the final arguments from the major parties of the investigation.
