Another county in our area opening its doors for the vaccine is Metcalfe County.
We traveled there this afternoon to see how the H1N1 clinics ere going in Edmonton.
Health officials tell WBKO their first clinic which began Tuesday was booked with patients.
These clinics are free and reserved for priority groups at this time and have so far been a big success.
"We're also giving away flu vaccines for our VOC, which stands for 'vaccines for children.' To qualify for that you have to be 18 or under, either have a medical card, be under insured by your insurance, or have no insurance at all," said Amanda Mutter, Metcalfe County Health Department.
Officials will hold another vaccination clinic in Edmonton this Friday November 6, 2009.
For more information and to schedule an appointment you can call 432-3214.
