The families of five Eastern Kentucky coal miners killed in an explosion last year will get the federal government's take on what caused the accident.
Federal investigators concluded their report on May 2006's explosion at the Darby Mine in Harlan, Ky. The report will be released April 12, 2007.
A state investigation released in 2006 stated the cause of the explosion was a cutting torch and flawed construction of a safety barrier.
