Heavy rains and high winds are being blamed for a Tennessee accident that killed a Bowling Green woman.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on April 11, 2007, on I-65 near the Kentucky state line.
Officials said Shannon Stevens of Bowling Green, was killed when her SUV hydroplaned, crossing the median, slamming into a tractor trailer. Stevens was apparently on her way home from work at Baptist Hospital.
Both lanes of I-65 were shutdown for a several hours. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
