The former broadcasting professional represents the 21st district, which covers most of Warren County.

One of DeCesare's priorities is government accountability, so he says he's going to prefile a bill before Thanksgiving, called the Taxpayer Transparency Act of 2010.

"And what this will do," said DeCesare, "will put every expenditure of the executive branch budget, of the legislative branch budget, of the judicial branch budget online, so the taxpayers of Kentucky can see where that money is going."

The Bowling Green Republican will be seeking his fourth consecutive term in the Kentucky House.
