Students in California weren't so lucky when it came to education costs as the University of California Davis announced it will raise tuition by 32% over the next two years.
Students didn't like hearing that too much and lashed out in protest.
That led to the arrest of 52 students for refusing to leave an administration building.
Students and faculty have been rallying against the Board of Regents' approval to hike up tuition next January,.
Students will be forced to pay an additional $585 per semester and next fall fees are expected to increase by another $1,300.
Critics of the move are slamming high salaries for university
Administrators.
