Three men arrested for WKU robbery

Two men and a juvenile face robbery charges after an incident on Western Kentucky University's campus.

According to the WKU Police Department, a female student was walking from Creason lot to Minton Hall just before 1:30 a.m. this morning when a man grabbed her cell phone, camera, iPod and car keys.

Three individuals were taken into custody. Joshua Embrey is charged with alcohol intoxication, criminal trespass, terroristic threatening and robbery.

Ryan Embrey and the juvenile were charged with alcohol intoxication, criminal trespass and robbery.

Major Mike Wallace reminds students that members of the WKU Police Department and explorers are available to provide student escorts 24 hours a day. He also said students should not carry items of value in plain sight and to be aware of their surroundings.
