According to authorities, a pilot survived the crash of his small aircraft at a South Central Kentucky airport on April 21, 2007.
The Logan County Sheriff's Department said a small plane, flown by Harry Rooks of Tennessee, crashed after problems during landing. The aircraft ended up in an open field at the end of a runway at Russellville-Logan County airport.
Rooks was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash.
