Some families at Ft. Campbell have much to be thankful for this holiday week as they welcome home 700 soldiers.

After a 12 month deployment to Afghanistan the soldiers of the 159th Combat Aviation Brigade will be welcomed back in ceremonies throughout the week.

The first event is set for Monday and the last wave will come in early Friday.

The rest of the brigade is expected to return by the end of the year.
