Researchers may be one step closer to finding other life in the universe. Scientists discover a new planet.
For the first time ever, astronomers have discovered a planet outside our solar system that is potentially habitable with Earth-like temperatures.
“This is the most Earth-like planet yet, even if it’s not Earth,” astrophysicist, Steve Maran said.
Scientists said the planet is just the right size, might have water in liquid form and in galactic terms is relatively nearby at 120 trillion miles away.
The planet was discovered by scientists at the European Southern Observatory in La Silla, Chile.
