A Kentucky State Police Sergeant injured while serving in Iraq, is back in the Commonwealth.
Thirty-eight-year-old Tucker Carmichael was wounded during a rocket attack in Iraq.
Carmichael is a first lieutenant in the Army National Guard. He has been on leave from the state police during his service in Iraq.
Currently Carmichael is at Ireland Hospital in Fort Knox with his family.
Army officials haven’t yet released details on the April 22, 2007, attack.
