Kellie Pickler, a former American Idol contestant, recently released her second video "I Wonder." A Bowling Green girl saw Kellie's spotlight first hand as she plays a memory of Pickler in the video.
Ten-year-old Jessie Wilson will never have to wonder what it's like to see herself on T.V.
Wilson was chosen to play a younger version of Kellie Pickler in her latest video "I Wonder."
"The first time I saw it I was a little embarrassed because it's kind of weird to see yourself on T.V., but after the first couple of times I watched it I started to get more comfortable and I saw I was really, really good," Wilson said.
Kellie picked Jessie for the role from a tape her talent agent put together.
"She thought it was really, really good because I had to act sad and she actually started to cry," Wilson said.
During the video shoot, Jessie had the chance to experience the spotlight first-hand with her own stylist and makeup artist. She also had a little down time with Kellie.
"She was really nice and fun, and spunky, and she was really funny," Wilson said.
She said the best part of the shoot was meeting Kellie.
She watched the country singer when she was a contestant on American Idol.
"I got to hang out with Kellie and stuff and she loved me," Wilson said.
During their time together, Wilson also told Kellie of her dream to be an actress and a fashion designer.
"She was like, 'that's really cool and you have to stay through it and don't give up,'" Wilson said.
For now Wilson's acting skills can be seen in Kellie Pickler's "I Wonder" video, which you can view below.
Wilson has a little bit of memorabilia from her shoot. Kellie gave her an autographed CD, poster and t-shirt.
