A Japanese manufacturing company is setting up shop in the Kentucky Tri-Modal Transpark.
HOWA USA, Inc., will build on 24 acres at the corner of Technology Way and Commonwealth Boulevard in the Transpark.
HOWA’s new 82,000 square-foot facility will make dash insulator, headliners and other products for the interiors of automobiles like Toyota, Nissan and Honda and they plan to keep the environment clean.
“They are not a smokestack industry. Their levels of emissions are so low, that they didn’t even require a federal certificate,” said Mike Buchanon, Warren County Judge-Executive.
HOWA expects to create 61 new full-time jobs and invest more than $10 million in the Warren County Economy.
