The Warren County Fiscal Court will meet the morning of May 3, 2007 to discuss ways to cut its budget and possibly implement new taxes.
Judge-Executive Mike Buchanon told us the county budget committee had made nearly $3 million worth of cuts in all non-essential departments and non-profit agencies.
He also said he would propose a one-percent occupational tax in the county and create a storm water utility agency to collect small fees from county residents.
Buchanon said the fees would be $3 to $4-a-month on the water bills of county residents living outside the Bowling Green city limits.
