Governor Fletcher’s campaign said it is reimbursing the state more than $18,000 for travel.
The trips on state aircraft included a mixture of state and political work.
Fletcher’s campaign said it’s writing a check to the state for a prorated share of the travel expenses.
The total amounts to about 38 percent of the almost $49,000 of trip costs.
Initially, Fletcher’s campaign said it would not reimburse the state after the trips were first disclosed by the Lexington Herald-Leader last week.
The campaign changed its mind a day later.
