The Western student radio station WWHR 91.7 is reaching more listeners.
A 1300-watt transmitter has been installed, spreading its signal as far away as Franklin and Cave City. Before, the station could be reached mainly on campus only.
WWHR also now runs 24 hours a day. More than 60 students work at the station.
