State police say a Western Kentucky man has been charged with raping a 15-year-old Florida girl.
Police say she was lured to Kentucky after they allegedly chatted on the Internet, state police said.
Police announced on May 11, 2007, that 34-year-old Marion Yarbrough, of Russellville, about 30 miles southwest of Bowling Green, has been charged with seven counts of rape and unlawful transaction with a minor.
According to police, the girl said Yarbrough told her he was 21-years-old and furnished her with a bus ticket from Miami, Fla. to Nashville, Tenn. Police say he picked her up there and took her to Bowling Green, where he allegedly raped her.
The girl was in state custody on May 11, and officials were arranging to send her home to Miami.
