Graduation ceremonies took place Friday night and Saturday at Western Kentucky University.
This is Western's 161st Commencement ceremony.
The university handed out 1,817 diplomas this spring and recognized several hundred more who will complete their degrees during the summer term.
Graduation was held Friday night for graduate students, and on Saturday two ceremonies were held for undergraduates.
WKU divided the ceremonies and held them in Diddle Arena this semester due to the ongoing construction at L.T. Smith Stadium.
This also marked the first time the ceremonies were web-cast.
This helped some families share in the graduation experience, even if they couldn't make the trip to Bowling Green.
