Area triplets are given a name today - after their miracle birth.
Cow Number 54 gave birth to triplets May 5, 2007. The triplets were without names, and we asked the WBKO audience to send us suggestions of what the three heifers should be called.
After receiving more than 100 names over the weekend the final decision has been made. Since the birth of triplet calves is very rare, it only seemed appropriate that these miracle triplets be named Faith, Hope and Charity.
Farmer Ed Huntsman said the chance of a cow giving birth to triplets is about one-in-more than 100,000.
