Warren County will see a hundred new jobs by next year. This after the Kentucky Transpark announces its second new project in a month.
Cannon Automotive Solutions will build its new facility on 14 acres of the Transpark. The $13 million investment will employ close to 100 people with hourly wages of just under $18.
Mary Cohron, Chairperson of the Bowling Green-Warren County Chamber of Commerce, said the economic impact will be in excess of $5 million over the next five years.
"It's a great day - one we've waited for for a long time. To have two announcements in as many weeks is a very fine thing for the state," Cohron said.
The new facility will build materials to be used on the 2009 Ford F-150. Cannon Automotive Solutions is scheduled to be completed by October 2007.
Just two weeks ago Howa announced its plans to build at the Transpark.
