A Minnesota man jumped from a plane sixty times to celebrate his birthday this weekend.
Tom DeCorsey took to the skies with the help of two pilots and dozens of volunteers.
The former marine did eight jumps in the first hour and finished all sixty in eleven hours.
DeCorsey said his love for skydiving started when he found out he had cancer.
"In 1994 I was diagnosed with cancerous brain tumor and after conventional surgery was sent home. Fortunately, I've never had any recurrence. When you have time to think like that, you make a list of things you really want to do. One of them was play with the bulls at the rodeo and a bunch of other crazy stuff-and one of them was skydiving. And I went out, took a first jump class and the following day I was there and camped on the doorstep and they never got rid of me. From then on, I jumped all the time.", says DeCorsey.
DeCorsey will turn 60 on Wednesday. He also owns a skydiving business where he videotapes and photographs jumps.
