The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs plans to open three new outpatient clinics in the state.
The clinics will be located in Madison, Daviess and Grayson Counties.
U.S. Senator Jim Bunning said the new facilities called community-based outpatient clinics are designed to enhance access to V.A. health care for veterans.
Bunning went on to say that the clinics will help ensure those who have worn a uniform will get proper health care.
The clinics are expected to open by the end of next year.
