Five Walt Disney World visitors and an employee were injured May 29, 2007, when a ride malfunctioned at the Animal Kingdom Park.
A Disney spokeswoman said a sensor on the Kali River Rapids ride tripped, stopping the ride and forcing riders to evacuate. The injuries happened while the riders were moving from the floats to a walkway.
Disney determined the problem was a faulty exit platform.
Authorities said a family of four and a teenager suffered neck and back pain and other bumps and bruises, but no serious injuries.
The park has removed the platform and reopened the ride.
