If you’ve got something to say about health issues in our area the Barren River District Health Department is listening.
The morning of May 31, 2007, health department administrators announced details of The Big Listen, a two year community health assessment designed to gather information on health care needs.
State Senator Brett Guthrie is encouraging everyone in the ten county Barren River area to take part in the survey.
The information will be passed along to the local government, the health care community, service organizations, the education and business communities, and the public at large.
The first part of the assessment looks like this and is called “The Everybody Survey.” It asks questions about everything from air quality to alcohol addiction.
