It’s hard to believe it’s been almost three months since a newborn baby was abandoned on a doorstep in Franklin, Ky., and Simpson County Sheriff Gene Starks said there are still no leads as to who the parents are of Baby John Doe.

He said at last report, the baby’s doing fine and is still in Foster care.

Although she couldn’t say anything specifically about Baby John Doe, Anya Weber with The Department for Community-Based Services out of Frankfort, said it’s her understanding that under the Safe Haven Law, after 90 days the procedure to terminate parental rights can begin.
