Explosives tore through the ground in parts of Warren County on Monday, all in the name of emergency preparedness.
Emergency personnel and first responders from across the state got an up-close lesson in explosives, thanks to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
Around 40 officials from police, sheriff, and fire departments as well as emergency management and airports from across the state will continue their training throughout the week. They'll also conduct mock investigations after simulated emergency explosions.
