Holiday traffic checkpoints lead to the arrests of three men including two area fugitives.

21-year-old Daniel Downey, of Bowling Green, 38-year-old John Yoebstl, of Richardsville and 27-year-old Timothy Montgomery, of Auburn, were each arrested Saturday.

Yoebstl and Montgomery were arrested on a number of drug charges.

Montgomery also had fugitive charges stemming from Logan County.

Downey was arrested on a fugitive warrant from the Bowling Green Police Department.

The men were stopped during a safety checkpoint set up by the Warren County Sheriff's Office and Kentucky State Police.
