The Glasgow Highland Games was a big tourist attraction for the weekend.
The events kicked off Thursday night with a Celtic concert and Friday with the Celtic fest and the city of Glasgow Ceilidh.
The Highland Games is a celebration of Scottish and Irish family ancestry including traditions, culture, and history.
Athletic events include the hammer throw, the barrel toss, and the car lift!
Bagpipe band member Doug Greer says the Glasgow games are unique. He's traveled to other Highland Games throughout the country, but his was his first time at the Glasgow event.
"The music's good. There's a lot here not at the other games, the tomahawk throw and encampment. There's a lot going on. Its good fun and a good experience", says Greer.
The games were voted a top 10 festival event for the summer by the Kentucky Tourism Council.
There were also events on Saturday as well, starting at 7:30 and lasting until 4:00.
