The U.S. military said the search for two missing American soldiers will continue, despite a new militant video claiming that they’ve been killed.
According to the video, insurgents with links to Al-Qaida killed three soldiers after capturing them last month in Iraq. The body of one soldier was later found.
The video includes what is described as footage of the ambush that preceded the capture of the soldiers.
The video consists of confused and jerky night-battle scenes. The video also includes close-ups of two identification cards, but the soldiers aren’t shown.
A chief military spokesman in Baghdad said they hope the soldiers will be found alive and in good health.
