Ky. Energy Efficiency Down

New research shows Kentucky has not been energetically supporting energy efficiency.>

The study was conducted by The American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy. It was paid for by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Kentucky ranks 35th.

Researchers weighed such factors as: how much utilities spend on energy-efficiency programs for customers, building energy codes, transportation policies and appliance efficiency standards.

Vermont, Connecticut and California topped the list.
