Hats off to the thousands of South-Central Kentucky teens who became high school graduates over the weekend.
A number of commencement ceremonies took place in our area. Kids we talked to say they will travel across the country while others will stay closer to home.
Warren County statistics show 62 percent of last year’s graduates went onto college compared to a statewide figure of 54 percent.
Twenty seven percent joined the workforce while five percent entered Vocational or Technical training. Four percent is listed as working part-time, attending school part-time, or classified as unsuccessful. Two percent went into the Armed Forces.
Congratulations to those students who graduated!
