State police say the bodies of two young brothers who had gone missing in eastern Kentucky were found in the trunk of a car the morning of June 10, 2007.
They say the car belonged to the boys' mother, but state police say this afternoon that it appears the boys climbed in on their own and became locked inside.
The boys have been identified as 8-year-old Chase Baker and 11-year-old Coty Baker.
They were reported missing last night around 8 p.m. E.T. at a home two miles south of London.
Authorities said the boys' grandparents made the call.
Their bodies were found in the trunk of a 1996 Audi at their mother's home about four hours after the missing report.
A state medical examiner was performing autopsies on the bodies on June 10.
