It's another example of how important education is in our state, KCTCS announces a new milestone in student enrollment.

On Wednesday, The Kentucky Community and Technical College system announced its enrollment has topped 100,000 students for the fall 2009 semester.

What's more the number of students attending schools in the KCTCS system grew by nearly 12% from 2008 to 2009.

KCTCS President Michael McCall says it shows that more Kentuckians are going to and going back to school to better their education and seek higher-paying jobs.
