An area truck driver is dead after his gasoline tanker rig collides with a dump truck near Nashville.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Robert Love of Park City, Ky. Love worked for Franklin-based Key Oil Company and was taking a load of fuel to Gallatin, Tenn., for delivery.
Hendersonville, Tenn., police said it appears Love’s tractor trailer ran into the back of a dual-axle dump truck. Both vehicles were destroyed by the fire, which closed Vietnam Veterans Boulevard for hours.
The dump truck driver survived the crash.
