The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has set aside $400,000 for repairs on the sinkhole in Dishman Lane.
The funding will cover over half the cost of the $782,000 repair work.
The city will pay the remainder.
Construction is underway and the road is expected to reopen on Nov. 1.
