A Southern Kentucky woman is sentenced in the drowning death of her eight-year-old son.
Dylan Rambo was killed last August 2006, when his mother’s car plunged into Lake Cumberland. Wynema Worley and her six-year-old daughter escaped.
Circuit Judge Vernon Miniard sentenced Worley to 10 years on a manslaughter charge and five years on a wanton endangerment charge. The terms are to be served consecutively without early release.
Police said Worley wasn’t legally drunk at the time, but had multiple drugs in her system.
