For the second year in a row Vintage Aircraft and Vintage Air Warriors gathered in Bowling Green.
The hangar party was held to raise money for Aviation Heritage Park, which is now under construction at Basil Griffin Park.
"We're displaying all these aircrafts and we're so pleased that we've had such good participation from aviators throughout this region here of bringing in their airplanes and demonstrating"', says volunteer, Hugh Roe.
Flyovers were held before the rain picked up, and had weather permitted rides in airplanes would have been auctioned off.
With the electricity out at the airport the hangar doors weren't able to open for quite some time, but that didn't stop people from admiring the many planes outdoors.
