The State Department of Agriculture has received quite a few complaints from people lately who say they've been shorted at the pump. The state says it's because as the price of gasoline goes up so the do the number of complaints.
The State Department of Agriculture says they check all of the pumps across the state at least once a year. On average, they find that only four to five percent of the pumps are inaccurate. They say usually that inaccuracy is in favor of the customer.
If you think you've been shorted at the pump, you can call the Kentucky Department of Agriculture at (502) 573-0282 or log on to their website at www.kyagr.com.
