I-phones went on sale at 6 p.m. on Friday at AT&T stores across the country, but 13-year-old Joshua Lindsey arrived early because he didn't want to take any chances.
"Since about twelve o'clock", Joshua says.
So what's the big deal about the new gadget?
"Because it's so much better it does so many cool things it's just cool", says Joshua.
The I-phone has a 3.5 inch touch screen display, and it's equipped with a camera, I-pod, media player, photo album, wireless web browser, and a phone.
"It's the perfect companion it does everything you want from internet, music, videos to shows ".
But the new device comes with a price.
"$666.00 with tax and we got an accessory case too".
While most parents would be hesitant to spend that much money on a phone for their 13 year-old, Mrs. Lindsey says Joshua isn't most kids.
"Because he's a good kid and he's so into the Apple Computers".
And at the end of the day, Joshua says it was worth the wait.
But will his friends agree?
"I don't know I haven't talked to anyone in a while... so, but that's gonna change".
