It was a dream come true 47 year old Deborah McDonald walked away just this tuesday with $8,000 dollars in hand after winning an Ohio lottery.

Her husband and two best friends went with her to Columbus for the taping earlier this month and memories of the day were saved on camera.

There was a shopping spree, dinner for four at Red Lobster, drinks and dancing.

But the celebration turned to tragedy when Deborah walked outside the tavern and was struck and killed by a car.

The lottery show that was filmed is scheduled to air this Saturday with a special message from the lottery commission.

The State Highway Patrol said they have no plans to charge the driver.
