If you’re still not sure what you’ll be doing to celebrate, there are plenty of Independence Day activities to choose from.
The 36th Annual National City Thunderfest will be held tonight at the National Corvette Museum Amphitheater. Gates opened at 4 p.m. and fireworks start at dark. Tickets are $5 each or $15 per car-load.
Also tonight, the Louisville Orchestra will be in Glasgow for a concert in front of City Hall. The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. with children’s entertainment before the concert.
Tomorrow, on the Fourth of July, there will be an Independence Day celebration at Carrico Park Square in Russellville, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Victory Hill Ministries in Scottsville will celebrate tomorrow night, with a special service at 7 p.m. and fireworks at dark.
There will also be a fireworks extravaganza at the Barren River Lake State Resort Park at 9:00 p.m.
Finally, the Bowling Green Chamber Orchestra will be performing at 8 p.m. at Western Kentucky University’s Guthrie Bell Tower. Picnicking starts at 6 p.m., with fireworks to follow the concert.
