Riley Miller is spearheading the efforts of the Bowling Green area to help raise funds to fight childhood cancer. Miller, 13, had two brothers, Reid born in December 2001 and Randon born in July 2006 both who passed away from childhood cancer.
Riley’s newest brother would be one year old on July 19th; he passed away last September from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Miller said, “We hope to have a successful year in memory of baby Randon Miller and my other brother, Reid Miller, who passed away in 2002.”
Miller noted that several children in her area have come to know the world of cancer. The stand in her area will also be honoring Mya Henderson who just underwent a bone marrow
transplant for AML.
Please visit a lemonade stand on Saturday, July 7th.
