Working around electricity can become dangerous on a moment's notice, but some area workers prove that they can stay safe on the job.

Kentucky Secretary of Labor Joe Norsworthy and other state and local officials presented the workers of the Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation with the Governor's Safety and Health Award.

Employees put in almost 600,000 hours of work, without a single lost time injury or illness.
