Mayor Elaine Walker was also on hand to present another proclamation today.

February is Earthquake Awareness Month, and Warren County Emergency Management received a proclamation from Mayor Walker today to help raise awareness.

Tomorrow, there will be a warning exercise in Warren County.

Indoor and outdoor warning systems in many area schools and businesses will be activated at 9:00 A.M.

Emergency Management Director from Warren County, Ronnie Pearson, states,"To bring awareness to the citizens of the commonwealth about the problems we could have, to bring awareness out to the general public, and to everyone involved that it could be happening and, be prepared."

Pearson continues to mention, earthquakes can happen in Kentucky.

He says that individuals should have a disaster preparedness plan and practice it.
