Diet, exercise, and better food labeling -- those are the three ingredients of Michelle Obama's recipe for healthier kids.
The First Lady was acting more like the "First Mom" today as she kicked off a national program to improve life for the nation's children.
Her campaign titled "Let's Move" will see an infusion of $10 billion over the next ten years.
But experts say one in three kids are overweight or obese, and the country spends at least $150 billion a year treating obesity related illnesses.
She was at the President's side when he signed an order to get the ball rolling.
"We have everything we need right now to help our kids lead healthy lives; and rarely in the history of this country have we encountered the problem of such magnitude and consequence that is so imminently solvable," Michelle Obama stated.
The goal of "Let's Move" is to bring an end to a generation of childhood obesity.
The initiative is looking at providing tax breaks for grocery stores in poor communities and the President has assembled a task force of secretaries from the health, agriculture, and education departments to review the plan.
