An area county is getting a much needed water make over .
The Eastern Logan County water district was presented a check for
$2.4-million dollars on July 17, 2007. $800,000 of that check came in the form of a government grant from Rural Economic Development.
Water officials said the money will go toward improving the overall water system by upsizing and connecting county water lines. Pumping stations will also be added to help with water pressure.
Almost 3000 customers in the area will directly benefit from the overall improvements.
