A special delivery landed at the Bowling Green Airport this morning.

A boxer named Rocky was flown in from Georgia after being saved from euthanization by repets founder Tracy Moser.

The dog was found chained up and abandoned in his backyard after his family had moved out.

Now starving and suffering from heartworms, Moser has volunteered to get him back to health.

"We really want to use him to educate the public to say, you know, this is what's going to happen if your dog gets heartworm. Their immunity drops and they lose weight, and they just look horrible, and they suffer so badly..."

Rocky will spend the weekend at a veterinary hospital before he can be treated for his heartworms.
