It's the end of a generation of cars at the Corvette Plant. The C-5 Corvette rolled off the assembly line for the last time ever this afternoon. The C-5, which stands for the fifth generation of Corvettes, has been built since 1997.

The plant will now start making the C-6 Corvette. It is a sleeker more modern version of the C-5 and does not have the pop-up headlights the Corvette is known for. Besides the C-6, the plant also makes the Caillac XLR.
