Last year radio D.J. Tony Rose from SAM 100.7 F.M. collected 4,000 pounds of school supplies and now Tony Rose is at it again!
The donation drive is to make sure local schools get enough supplies to last the entire year.
This year the goal is 6,000 pounds and it’s just the beginning for Rose, who’s living inside a bus until it’s stuffed.
Rose isn’t just being friendly, he wants your help. Tony can’t leave the bus until you help him stuff it full of school supplies.
Tony can only have a bathroom break every four hours and food has to be catered to him. Stuff the Bus kicked off the morning of July 20, 2007, and will end when the bus is full.
Last year it only took 85 hours and although the goal is 2,000 pounds more Tony hopes he will spend less time living on the bus.
You can find Tony Rose at Bluegrass Cellular on Campbell Lane. One percent of the supplies raised stay here in South Central Kentucky.
