Country music is as popular as ever. While overall album sales were down in 2006, country music's were up.
The stars come together every June to say "thank you" to the fans by throwing a party for tens of thousands of them.
In anticipation of the July 27 coverage of the CMA Music Festival on WBKO, Laura Rogers revisits country music's biggest party.
"I love country music. Me and my whole family are obsessed with country music," one fan said.
It's an obsession for many.
"We met Eric Church last night, we saw Brooks & Dunn. We're having a great time," said another.
CMA Music Fest brings fans from all over the globe.
"I'm here to see Alan Jackson. I've never seen him before live and I can't wait to see him," said one Jackson fan.
"I've always had a rather large fan base, especially here at Fan Fair," singer Alan Jackson said.
And another fan favorite? Reba McEntire is making her first CMA Music Fest appearance, or Fan Fair, as it was originally called, in 11-years.
"I love Fan Fair and I'm really excited to be a part of it with all the entertainers scheduled to appear tonight. It's going to be great," McEntire said.
Throw in some unexpected guests and country's biggest fanatics, and you've got a party no country fan should miss.
